To resolve their dispute, Bishop runs holographic simulations of their past in the Danger Room, showing their troubled upbringing in a dystopian, Sentinel-ruled future.
The flashbacks trace their lives from a mutant relocation camp to their training and graduation into the X.S.E. (Xavier's Security Enforcers)—a mutant police force formed after the "Summers Rebellion" to police other mutants.
