A botched raid: G.W. Bridge leads Weapon P.R.I.M.E. in a siege on X-Force's Adirondack base. As the two teams clash, Cable uses his sentient computer, Professor, to teleport his valuable technology out of the base.
An anti-climactic victory: X-Force's superior firepower and tactics allow them to quickly and easily defeat Weapon P.R.I.M.E. The battle is over before the attacking team can mount a credible threat.
The explosion: While Cable prepares to detonate the base himself to fake out his rival, Tolliver, an override triggers the explosives prematurely. The base is destroyed, leaving the team—and Weapon P.R.I.M.E.—in jeopardy.
A risky escape: Cable and the fake Domino, Vanessa, escape into the tunnels and are separated from the rest of X-Force. Cannonball saves the others by shielding them from the blast with his powers.
Gideon's experiments: Meanwhile, the villain Gideon continues to conduct painful experiments on Sunspot, a former New Mutant.
Tolliver's triumph: In Sicily, the gangster Tolliver celebrates the news of the explosion with his prisoner, the real Domino. He reveals that the override trigger came from Vanessa, his mole in X-Force.
