Venom #15 is a tie-in to Marvel's War of the Realms crossover event. In this issue, a battered and bleeding Eddie Brock is nearly overwhelmed by the villain Malekith's War Witches and their minions.
At one point in the story, Eddie is separated from the symbiote and reaches a bunker, where he is met by his son Dylan. Through the use of Asgardian magic, Eddie is reunited with the Venom symbiote and is ready to fight back against the monsters brought to Earth by Malekith. Eddie's primary motivation throughout the conflict is the protection of his son, Dylan.
