Plot summary

  • The story begins with Johnny Blaze racing to the hospital to check on Roxanne, but he gets into an accident and ends up in the hospital himself.

  • Meanwhile, Witch-Woman, who is possessed by Satan, is discovered by Sam Silvercloud and Snake Dance, who call Daimon Hellstrom for help.

  • The possessed Witch-Woman revives and leaves to find Johnny Blaze.

  • At the hospital, Johnny's old rival, Bart, demands that Roxanne make the Copperhead Canyon jump. When they learn Johnny is injured, Bart proceeds alone.

  • As night falls, Johnny transforms into Ghost Rider and races to the canyon but is too late. Bart is killed in the crash.

  • Ghost Rider then takes Roxanne and flees the scene in a truck, while Witch-Woman and Hellstrom arrive at the hospital and discover he is gone.
