This issue features an early encounter between Superman and the intergalactic bounty hunter Lobo. The story begins when a very drunk Lobo, accompanied by the equally intoxicated Bibbo Bibbowski and Raof, shows up at the Fortress of Solitude looking for Superman.
Lobo's intrusion leads to a vicious "blood brawl" with the Man of Steel inside the Fortress. To finally end the confrontation and trick Lobo into leaving, Superman pretends to be dead. This comic is the second part of the "Day of the Krypton Man" storyline.
