Marvel Zombies/Army of Darkness #4 (2007) (NM)
In Marvel Zombies/Army of Darkness #4, the zombie plague spreads globally after Mystique, disguised as the Scarlet Witch, infects Quicksilver. Inside Doctor Doom's castle, Ash and Doom clash, but Doom eventually agrees to help, revealing the zombie virus is extraterrestrial. With Doom's help, Ash gets the Necronomicon to raise the zombie victims as Deadites to distract the zombies, allowing Doom to open a portal for Ash and the survivors to escape.
Plague spreads: A disguised Mystique infects Quicksilver, who uses his speed to spread the zombie contagion across Earth.
Doom's castle: Ash and the survivors are held captive by Doctor Doom, who initially believes the threat is not supernatural and fights them.
A fragile alliance: Doom eventually sides with Ash, recognizing the severity of the extraterrestrial threat. The Necronomicon, after being threatened by Ash, reveals it can help by raising the zombie victims as Deadites to serve as a distraction.
Escape: As the Deadites battle the zombies, Doom opens a portal, allowing Ash to escape to a parallel universe and the survivors to a safe haven. The zombies are left fighting the Deadites at the castle.
