In "Joe Triumphs!", Cobra infiltrates the G.I. Joe headquarters, and the heroes must learn the Cobra Commander's secret to escape destruction. The Cobra attack force fires missiles at the motor pool garage, but as the smoke clears, a pre-fabricated fortress is revealed. This fortress was being assembled by a group of Joes under the supervision of Gung-Ho. Inside the stockade, Major Bludd and Scar-Face attack, with Doc being knocked unconscious and Major Bludd catching General Flagg's gun after Scar-Face kicks it away.
